Our Mission:

Helps Ministry Fellowship International was founded in 1999 by Dr. Afton B. Oglesby, Senior Pastor of Community Revival Center Church in Ottawa, Kansas, at the unction of the Holy Spirit. Helps Ministry Fellowship International simply stands for “Helping Evangelize by Loving Preachers Saints and Sinners.” H.M.F.I. is a cooperative fellowship based upon the mutual agreements voluntarily entered into by its membership.

Our purpose is to assist every minister to fulfill the Great Commission to go into all the world to preach the Gospel to every creature. We believe that every ministry and every church must take a strong, positive Scriptural stand toward evangelism and soul-winning and trusting in the Holy Spirit, and to use all Scriptural methods in preaching the Word in order to bring the lost to Christ. We believe evangelism and soul-winning should be at the forefront of every church and ministry.

In assisting ministers and churches to achieve their maximum potential in Christ, every minister and every church must be treated with respect and equality. We believe that the Pastor who has ten should be treated with the same respect and equality as the one who has 1,000. Every minister who is faithful in where God has called him, regardless of how small it may be, is as important to the Kingdom of God as the one who has been called to a larger field.
