Student Conventions

This is the premier event for the Ottawa Christian Academy every year. Students who are 13 years or older by December 31st, are allowed to participate.

Students can choose from over 143 events. Here are a few events:

Chess, Checkers, Essay Writing, Poetry Writing, Website Design, Sketching, Woodworking, Photography, Singing, Musical Instruments, Expressive Reading, Archery, Track & Field, Basketball, Volleyball, Counted-Cross Stitching, Science Exhibits, Spelling, Clown Act, and One-Act Play.

Regional Convention

This Convention is held at the Bible Baptist College in Springfield, Missouri, for four days in March. There are approximately 350 students from other A.C.E. schools in attendance.

This year's Regional Convention will be March 23rd through March 26th, 2010.

International Convention

This Convention is held at various colleges such as Flagstaff, Arizona, Warrensburg, Missouri, Harrisonburg and Lynchburg, Virginia. There are 2,500 to 3,500 students from all over the United States and from countries all across the globe competing.

Competiton lasts for 1 week.

Convention has been a life changing event for many of our students. Not only do students compete, but they are ministered to at evening rallies throughout the week. Students have made friendships that last the rest of their lives. It is truly an amazing experience for all who attend.

This year's International Convention will be at Western Kentucky University on May 22nd through May 27th.
